The Riyadh Metro is an ambitious rapid transit system in Riyadh. This transformative project encompasses six metro lines across 85 stations, spanning a remarkable total length of 176 kilometers. With an estimated cost of $22.5 billion, it exists as a significant investment in the city’s transportation infrastructure and provides an efficient and sustainable mode of transit.
Within the Yellow Line connecting King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) to KAFD, two out of the eight total stations play a vital role in linking the airport to the city. The two stations, 4G2 and 4G3, provide transportation for passengers arriving at or departing from KKIA, enabling convenient transfers between four of the airport terminals.
The development of the 4G2 and 4G3 stations, along with the connection of the buildings and the bridges to the airport, included the design and engineering of aluminum cladding, aluminum louvers, catwalks, skylights, and horizontally shaded double skin aluminum curtain walls, all under the direct supervision of our director Osama Zubdeh.
