In 2017, Flydubai announced its plans for a new headquarters in the commercial Al Warsan district of Dubai, UAE. This development is spread across an impressive 100,000 square meters and includes four facilities: the main headquarters, a recreational center, a cabin crew training center, and a city check-in. The project was designed for the growth of the airline and a novel workplace and training center for Flydubai staff.
The facilities were designed with Flydubai’s needs and purposes in mind, meeting all expectations of a modern and comfortable work environment. Some items included in the design development were curtain walls, walkway skylights, canopies, balustrades, frameless glazing at the main entrance, podium façades, and protruded sunshade louvers. Director Osama Zubdeh was involved in the preparation of the preliminary design, the glass selection, and the project budgets.
